Motorcycle collision in North Dumfries kills 19-year-old rider

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit are investigating a fatal collision in North Dumfries.

On October 3, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a transport truck with trailer on Cedar Creek Road near Dumfries Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old Brant County male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the transport truck, a 38-year-old Kitchener male, was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
