90-year-old passenger injured in Waterloo crash

A 90-year-old passenger was injured and taken to hospital Thursday following a two-vehicle collision in Waterloo. 

WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit said the crashe happened around 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Columbia Street West and Phillip Street.

The driver of a Toyota the injured woman was a passenger in was an 88-year-old Waterloo man who was not injured. She's being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of a Honda that collided with the Toyota, a 22-year-old Waterloo woman, was not injured.

The intersection was partially closed for approximately three hours for the collision investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
