Barbara Ann Hiller, a beacon of selfless love and devout faith, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Welcoming her with open arms is her husband, James who predeceased her. 

Born on December 14, 1940, in St. Clements, Ontario, she was a cherished daughter of the late Louise and Harry Meyer. Barbara's warm, friendly nature and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

A devoted mother, Barbara's legacy lives on through her children: Margaret McCulloch, Jason (Keara), Matthew, Lisa, and Jennifer (David). She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Madeline, Sasha, Alexandra, and James, cherishing every moment she spent with them. Her nurturing love extended to her siblings, Patricia, Raymond, Michael, and she fondly remembered her late brothers Clarence and Bernard.

Barbara's life was a testament to her unwavering faith as a devout Catholic. She dedicated many years to volunteering with the St. Ambrose Catholic Women's League. Her commitment to her faith and community was further exemplified by her support for the right to life movement. Her actions were always guided by her belief in kindness and compassion.

Those who knew Barbara will remember her as a pillar of strength and generosity. Her selfless nature was evident in every aspect of her life. She had an innate ability to make everyone she met feel welcomed and valued, creating lasting friendships and a community that extended far beyond her family.

Barbara's love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the importance of kindness, empathy, and the joy of giving. Her guidance, wisdom, and faith will continue to influence and inspire future generations.

Resting at Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St. N), where family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5pm – 9pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ambrose RC Church on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2pm. Reception to follow mass in the church’s reception room.
