The Gaslight District will be taken over by goblins and ghouls when the Monster Market comes to town next month.
On Friday, Sept. 13, the Halloween season kicks off at the Gaslight District with spooky vendors, artists and performances.
On the big screen, the venue will be hosting a free showing of Beetlejuice starting at 7 p.m.
The market will be open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The Gaslight's other venues, The Underwing and Foundry Tavern. will also have a spooky surprise set up for the event.
There will also be a second event held by local event planner Odd Whale Events called the Circus of Curiosities Pop Up.
"It will be an immersive mini Odd Whale experience full of music, art and tattoos," said the Odd Whale.
Kitchener-based tattoo studio Apricity Tattoo will be on-site to offer Halloween-themed flash tattoos for the event.
Odd Whale is still looking for unusual artists, vendors or performers who would fit the vibe of their Circus of Curiosities.
"This event will have multiple components to it, including a pop-up tattoo studio, acoustic music, art and a market," added Odd Whale on their application page.
For the event, chosen vendors or performers will be utilizing seven of the Gaslight District pop-up spaces and will be divided between three of the buildings based on the products being sold.
"We have limited space, and are specifically looking for all things creepy, weird, spooky, haunting or otherwise," said the organizers.
