Woman injured during robbery at Kitchener home

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate after a noxious substance was sprayed during a robbery this morning in Kitchener.

At around 1:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Victoria Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road.

Two unknown suspects entered a home and sprayed the victim with a noxious substance. The suspects then stole property and fled the residence.

The victim, a 34-year-old Kitchener female, was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening physical injuries.

Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident.
