Two taken to hospital following Kitchener collision

Two drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash in Kitchener yesterday.

Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit says the crash happened around 6 a.m., at the intersection of Bridgeport Road and Lancaster Street West.

Both drivers, a 38-year-old female and a 19-year-old male, one driving a Hyundai and one in a Kia, were transported to a local hospital.

Lancaster Street West was closed into the evening while hydro crews repaired the damage.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
