Regional police have made three arrests in connection with an armed robbery in Kitchener on June 6.
That afternoon, four male suspects entered a business, in the area of Charles Street and Ottawa Street South, and pointed firearms at the employees.
They demanded the employee's personal property, then proceeded to disconnect the business landlines before fleeing the building.
No one was injured.
On June 23, police observed one of the suspects in a vehicle on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. A 42-year-old Cambridge man was then arrested.
Officers also determined two other occupants in the vehicle were suspects in the robbery. A 23-year-old Guelph man and 25-year-old man from Brampton were also arrested.
While conducting a search of the vehicle, police located two imitation firearms. A search warrant was carried out at a Cambridge home as well.
The accused have been charged with robbery with an imitation firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery. Further charges are anticipated.
Police also say a fourth occupant in the vehicle was charged with unrelated drug offences.
