Waterloo Regional Police have completed a search warrant and seized drugs in ongoing investigation in Cambridge.
On November 15, 2024, members of the Waterloo Regional Police’s Direction Action Response Team (DART) completed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Concession Street and Main Street.
During the investigation, officers located and seized suspected cocaine and oxycodone. Officers also seized Canadian currency.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts).
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
