Suspects spotted trying to break into vehicles in Cambridge

WRPS continues to investigate suspects checking vehicles in Alder Road, McFarlane Drive and Ellis Road areas

Waterloo Regional Police’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is continuing to investigate an incident in Cambridge.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 5 a.m., two male suspects were observed attempting to break into vehicles in the area of Calvin Court and Tyndale Drive. The suspects continued checking vehicles in the areas of Alder Road, McFarlane Drive and Ellis Road.

Officers attended the area and identified one of the suspects involved and are looking to identify and locate the second suspect.

Residents in the areas of Calvin Court, Tyndale Drive, Alder Road, McFarlane Drive and Ellis Road are being asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious persons or vehicles on Nov. 13 between 4:30 a.m. and 5:45 a.m.
