Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a hit and run collision in Cambridge. 

On Oct. 27, 2021, at approximately 7:40 a.m., police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Pollock Avenue and Oak Street. 

The vehicle's driver was observed striking a parked car before fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located abandoned around Franklin Boulevard.

Upon arrival, police located ammunition in the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
