A Waterloo woman is dead after she was struck by her own vehicle Sunday afternoon in Kitchener.

Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit are continuing to investigate the collision that happened around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Activa Avenue and Bridlewreath Street.

Police released few details about the cause of the crash, but said a 67-year-old Waterloo female was pronounced dead at the scene.

Area roadways were closed for several hours for the investigation.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
