Motorcyclist taken to hospital following weekend crash in Kitchener

A 70-year-old Kitchener man who was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it was struck near Fairview Park Mall on Sunday afternoon is recovering in hospital.

The man was taken to an out of region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the 1:40 p.m. collision near Kingsway Drive near Cedarwoods Crescent.

Through investigation, police determined that a red Hyundai passed the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, resulting in the collision.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 66-year-old male from Goderich, was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
