Knife-wielding bandit demands cash at Kitchener gas station

On Sept. 7 at approximately 1:50 a.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a gas station in the area of Margaret Avenue and Guelph Street. 

An unknown suspect attended the business on foot, wielded a knife, and demanded cash from an employee before fleeing the area, heading north towards Margaret Avenue. 

There were no physical injuries reported. 

The suspect is described as white, with a heavy build, wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
