Kitchener man charged with stunt driving

Waterloo Regional Police say the driver was going 121 km/h in a 60 km/h zone of Highland Road West

A Kitchener man is facing stunt driving charges after getting caught going over twice the speed limit along Highland Road West.

Waterloo Regional Police first spotted the speeding pickup truck while doing speed enforcement on Ira Needles Boulevard.

The driver was pulled over on Highland after radar registered a speed of 121 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

A 34-year-old was charged for speeding and stunt driving.  

In addition, his driver's licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for two weeks.
