Cambridge woman charged with impaired after crash in Conestogo

Police have charged a 41-year-old Cambridge woman with impaired driving following a two vehicle collision north of Waterloo on Thursday.

On Sept. 19, at approximately 4:55 p.m., police received a report of a crash in the area of Northfield Drive East and Sawmill Road in Woolwich Township.

Through the investigation, officers determined that the driver of one of the involved vehicles was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested. 

The driver, a 41-year-old female from Cambridge was charged with:

  • operation while impaired
  • operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration

There were no physical injuries reported.
