The Cambridge Fire Department is responding to a working fire at an apartment building at 67 Avenue Rd. tonight.
Waterloo Paramedics were treating multiple patients, according to a post on 'X'.
There are multiple apartment units involved, the department said.
Firefighters have the fire under control and are completing searches.
Police have closed Avenue Road.
Fire crews from Kitchener are assisting local firefighters.
Residents and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
