It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Milena Batinić after a 10 year long battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on October 25th, 2024 at the age of 58.
Beloved wife of Miro, loving Mama of Marin (Amanda), Marina (Ivan Krišto), Marko (Alexa) and Mario (late Vanessa). Cherished Baka of Luka, Ana, Layla, Daniela, Dominik, Daniel, Niko, Ema, Lea, Juliana, and Gabriella. Dear daughter of the late Zvonko and Ljubica Levatić and dear sister of Milodrag (Štefica) and the late Stanko.
Milena will be sadly missed by her friends and extended family whose lives she touched in Bosnia, Croatia, Canada and the USA.
Special thanks to all her cherished friends and family who have supported her tremendously during her hard battle, and to the nurses and doctors for their compassionate care.
A visitation for Milena will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge. A funeral mass will follow on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at Holy Family Croatian Roman Catholic Parish, 180 Schweitzer Street, Kitchener. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery, 235 Cooper Street, Cambridge. Friends and loved ones are then invited to join the family for a celebration of life at the KW Croatian Club, 2006 Shantz Station Road, Breslau.
