Waterloo Regional Police looking for suspect in gas station robbery

The suspect has been described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5'11" tall, with a medium build

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery at a business in Cambridge. 

On Jan. 15, 2022, police received a report of a robbery at a gas station in the area of Hespeler Road and Eagle Street North. The robbery took place at approximately 11:15 a.m. 

A male suspect entered the business and brandished a firearm while demanding cash from the employee. The male then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no reported physical injuries. 

The suspect has been described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5'11" tall, with a medium build. The male was last seen wearing a dark jacket, jeans, light-coloured leather gloves, black and white running shoes and a white surgical mask. 

The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Robbery Unit.
