A four-year member of the Waterloo Regional Police Service has been charged by the Toronto Police Service in connection to an off-duty incident.
On June 17, 2024, the member was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and is scheduled to appear in Toronto’s Ontario Court of Justice on July 24, 2024.
The member has been suspended with pay as per the requirements of the Community Safety and Policing Act of Ontario.
Any questions regarding the criminal charges should be directed to the Toronto Police Service.
