Three arrested after vehicles set on fire in Cambridge neighbourhood

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fire that occurred at a residential property in Cambridge.

On January 19, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., emergency services responded to the report of multiple vehicles on fire in the area of Beauchamp Drive and Salisbury Avenue.

Three unknown males attended a residence and caused damage to two unattended vehicles, including setting them on fire.

The three males were located by police and arrested.

It is believed to be a targeted incident.

A 26-year-old male, a 25-year-old male, and a 27-year-old male, all from the Greater Toronto Area have been charged with arson to property and mischief to property over $5000. The males were held for a bail hearing.

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777.
