Someone is stealing utility box panels in Cambridge

Police say that in the past two weeks, 27 utility boxes have been broken into and had their metal access panels stolen

Officers from Waterloo Regional Police Service's Neighbourhood Policing South Division are investigating the theft of several utility box access panels in Cambridge.

On April 20, 2022, police received a report of utility boxes being broken into in the area of Trico Drive and Mortimer Drive. 

In the past two weeks, 27 utility boxes have been broken into and had their metal access panels stolen. There is no public safety concern due to the exposed wires left as a result of these thefts.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the individual below in connection to these thefts.

The investigation is ongoing.
