Rider 'ejected from motorcycle' in Speedsville Road collision

Police saya 38-year-old motorcycle rider from Cambridge suffered non-life threatening injuries in a collision on Speedsville Road last evening.

On Oct. 24, at around 6:50 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision on Speedsville Road near Middle Block Road in the City of Cambridge.

The investigation revealed that a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by a 38-year-old Cambridge man was travelling southbound on Speedsville Road when he crossed over into the northbound lane, striking a Dodge Caravan driven by a 55-year-old woman from Cambridge.

The motorcycle rider was ejected from his motorcycle and was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Speedsville Road was closed for several hours for the investigation.
