Kitchener man faces child porn charges: WRPS

Police say the 42-year-old was charged as result of an ongoing investigation

A 42-year-old Kitchener man is facing charges in relation to a child pornography investigation by Waterloo regional police.

Earlier this month, the WRPS cybercrime - Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit, began its investigation and as a result arrested a suspect today, charging him with one count of making child pornography available and one count of possession of child pornography. 

The man was held for a bail hearing.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet.
