On Oct. 28, 2021, at approximately 11 p.m., police responded to the area of Beverly Street and Kerr Street in Cambridge for a report of a male with a firearm.
As a result of the investigation, police recovered two loaded restricted handguns and a quantity of suspected fentanyl.
A 38-year-old male and a 24-year-old female from Newfoundland have been charged with several drug and weapon-related offences and were held in custody for a bail hearing.
