Police are looking for a man who made racial comments before assaulting a victim in the Farm Boy plaza on Hespeler Road and Bishop Street this morning.
Waterloo regional police said they were called to the plaza around 11:20 a.m. after it was reported an unknown male began yelling and making racial comments before he assaulted the victim.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
The suspected is described as a white male, 5-foot-6, 18 to 20 years old with brown hair and a thin build The male was wearing a black winter jacket and boots.
The investigation is ongoing.
