Police release photos in armed robbery investigation

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery in Kitchener that happened on Monday, August 12

Waterloo Regional Police are releasing photos of two people they’d like to speak to in connection with an armed robbery in Kitchener last month.

At around 11:10 p.m. on Monday, August 12, police were called to Kingsway Drive and Franklin Street South.

Police say two men confronted an employee before one of them pulled out a firearm and demanded money and merchandise.

The two suspects ran off with items before officers arrived.

Police have previously said no one was hurt in the incident.
