Police investigating early-morning home invasion, altercation

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a home invasion that occurred in the area of Granite Hill Road and Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge on Feb. 17, 2021. 

At approximately 4:45 a.m., a male allegedly forced his way into a home, where a physical altercation occurred. Two additional males were also in attendance but did not enter the residence.

The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.  

Minor physical injuries were reported as a result of the altercation, which police believe to be an isolated incident at this time.

The investigation is ongoing by members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit.
