The Waterloo Regional Police Robbery Unit are investigating an armed robbery in Cambridge.
On Oct. 28, 2021, at approximately 8 a.m., police responded to the area of Hespeler Road and Sheldon Drive for reports of a robbery.
The male suspect male gained access to the business and demanded money from the clerk. The male brandished a firearm before fleeing the area on foot. The firearm was described as a black handgun.
The male is described as white and is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s. The male was dressed in all black and was carrying a black backpack with a round yellow logo.
The investigation is ongoing.
