Police investigating after firearms stolen from Waterloo residence

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter involving stolen firearms in Waterloo.

On Feb. 10, police received a report of a break-in at a residence in the area of Churchill Street and Amos Avenue.

Sometime between Feb. 2 and Feb. 9, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole several firearms and other personal property.

Residents in the area with security cameras are asked to review their video footage between these dates for any suspicious persons or vehicles.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
