Police investigate break-in at residence in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break and enter last night in Waterloo.

On Sept. 11 at around 6:15 p.m., police received a report of a break-in in the area of Hillside Crescent and Bertha Street.

At the time of the incident, the residence was unoccupied, police said in a release, adding various items were taken.

Police said it is believed the suspect or suspects arrived in a vehicle and may have used walking paths to enter the home.

Investigators are asking anyone in the area of Cabot Trail, Eastbridge Boulevard, and Bonavista Drive to check security footage for any suspicious behaviour yesterday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
