Police can't locate man after report of a well-being check

Police didn't receive any further calls regarding the man and no missing person reports have been filed

On Feb. 17, 2022, at 9:55 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of check well-being of an elderly male walking down the road on Gladstone Avenue and Lansdowne Road South in Cambridge. The male was reported to be wearing inappropriate clothing for the weather.

Due to the severe winter weather conditions, police immediately conducted an extensive ground search and neighbourhood canvass of the area with the help of the Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team. A canvass of the area was also conducted, and local agencies checked.

Police did not locate the male and did not receive any other calls concerning a male walking in the area. There were also no missing persons reports received.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
