Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Kitchener suffers serious injuries

A 58-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a vehicle in Kitchener last night.

Waterloo regional police say on Dec. 29, at around 7:30 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Frederick Street and Bruce Street where a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection.

The woman was transported to an out-of-region hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing.
