Police say they stopped a driver travelling 98 km/h in a 40 km/h school zone on Dundas Street North yesterday.
In a post on the social media platform X, Waterloo regional police said enforcement measures were at the response to community concerns.
The driver was charged with stunt driving and speeding and their license was suspended for 30 days. The vehicle was also impounded for 14 days.
Police say all motorists have the responsibility to help ensure the safety of our region's roads. Slow down and respect the speed limit.
