Provincial police say a 27-year-old Cambridge man is in critical condition following a collision in Flamborough on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on Highway 8 between Safari Road and Seaton Road around 1 p.m. involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt says the Cambridge man was driving the motorcycle, and the family of the man has been notified.
He also says the driving conditions were good at the time, with no obstructions to speak of.
However, he says police did receive reports of a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision.
The highway fully reopened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
