A 20-year-old Cambridge man is dead after he lost control of his vehicle, went into the ditch and struck a hydro pole on Maple Grove Road on Friday afternoon.
Waterloo regional police are continuing to investigate the July 28 collision that shut down the Maple Grove and Beaverdale roads intersection for several hours.
Police, fire and paramedics were called to the area around 4:25 p.m. and located the seriously injured driver. The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
