We are devastated to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. Ronald David Rand passed away on January 1st, 2025 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 28 years old.

Ronald was a devoted husband and best friend to his wife, Kaitlin Santos, and a loving father to his son, Nathan Rand. He will be missed forever by his adoring parents, David Rand and Elizabeth Osborne; his brothers John Osborne and Adam Rand; his nephew Cayden and niece Sophia; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is now reunited with his Nanny and Poppy, Mary and Ron Osborne.

Ronald lived life to the fullest, embracing every adventure with enthusiasm and passion. He found immense joy in the beauty of the outdoors, and was at peace when he was in nature. Whether he was embracing the thrill of the hunt or the quiet solitude of fishing – he was at home when he was surrounded by the Earth’s natural beauty.

These passions were matched only by the love he had for his family. The bond between Ronald and his son Nathan was truly special; a relationship built on shared adventures, playful moments, and deep love. Their wrestling matches and special fishing trips were cherished rituals. Ronald’s love for Nathan was evident in every action, every word, and every gesture.

Ronald’s spirit will live on in the fishing trips, the outdoor adventures, the quiet moments in nature, and – most of all – in his sweet Nathan.

Ronald’s family invites all who knew and loved him to join them in celebrating his life. A visitation will be held at T. Little Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
