It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Leonard William Beckett who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on November 19, 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. He was in his 87th year.
He will be missed by his wife of 65 years, Katelyn (Kit) Beckett, his children Darrell, Dawn (Stephen), predeceased by his oldest son Douglas. Also missed by grandchildren Katie (Kyle), Amy (Matt), Michael, Ken, Shannon and great grandchildren, Emily, Jason, MacKenzie, Katrina, Silas and Jonah.
Leonard's family will receive family and friends on Thursday November 28, 2024, visitations 1-2PM, funeral service at 2PM at Forward Church, Cambridge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Oncology Program or Lisaard House, Cambridge.
