Get to Know the Grand Scavenger Hunt

McDougall Cottage  - 89 Grand Ave S., all summer

Put together a team and look for hidden treasures along the Grand River. Three prizes are available to be won.

Currents of Change: Inspiring Action Along the Grand River

McDougall Cottage - 89 Grand Ave S, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

View the exhibit that shows the connection between the Grand River and Cambridge.

Game Days

Retro Rocket Comics - 35 Main St Unit 102, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Head down to Main Street for a day full of games.

Hespeler Village Market

Hespeler old city hall - 11 Tannery St. E, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

The market runs every Friday until Sept. 27. 

Caribbean Street Party

Main Street, 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Caribbean food, a fitness class and music is coming to the Galt core.

Teen Nerf Night

Clemens Mill Idea Exchange - 50 Saginaw Pwky, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Bring your own unmodified nerf blaster for a night of fun and games. Registration is required.

Country in the Square

Gaslight District - 64 Grand Ave S, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Country takes over the Gaslight District with music and drinks. Admission is free.

Saturday, Aug. 24

Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, all day

A new art installation with fibre as its inspiration is ready to view. Runs from Aug. 24 to Nov. 10.

Cambridge Farmers’ Market

40 Dickson St, 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

Introduction to Digital Embroidery

Old Post Office Idea Exchange - 12 Water St. S, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Learn the basics of the embroidery machine.

Main Street Vintage Market

Main Street, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Head downtown for boutique shops, patios and one-day-only pop-up vendors.

Zumba Dance Party

KYnamics Dance & Fitness - 1720 Bishop St. N, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Get a workout in and have some fun. Participants are encouraged to wear red. Cost is $15 with 50 per cent of the proceeds being donated to the Cambridge Food Bank.

7th Annual Preston Porch Party

Community Day

Gaslight District Summer Market

The summer market series features local vendors, artisans and small shops.

Afternoon Garden Concert

Listen to a performance by the Cambridge Scottish Session Fiddlers. Tickets can be purchased here.

Toronto Blue Jays on the Big Screen

Watch the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Los Angeles Angels on the largest outdoor screen of its kind in Canada.
