The city has had to close its sports fields due to the recent torrential rains experienced across the city.
All natural turf city fields and the BMX Park will be closed for the evening.
With the exceedingly high humidity levels and a lack of sunshine, the saturated and ponded field areas are not drying out fast enough for safe play this evening, the city says in a news release.
