CambridgeToday received the following Letter to the Editor about Mayor Jan Liggett's response to our story Council not consulted on mayor's mental health and addictions poll.

What a fine letter by the mayor.

Jan hit the nail on the head and let us all hope action happens for these souls.

Over the years, my wife and I have taken so much food, medical supplies, sleeping bags, etc. to these people.

When speaking to many, hope is lost for a way out. Let us all pray a sincere effort is made to help these folks that many have abandoned.

Perhaps many shall fail and fall, but to save just one has no price tag.
