Wanted federal offender arrested in Kitchener

A man who had been unlawfully at large and the subject of a Canada-wide warrant since January has been arrested in Kitchener.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad apprehended Nathan Herman this week. 

He was serving a term of two years and three months for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, and possession of a fraudulent identity document.
