Waterloo Regional Police say they have arrested two men and a woman in connection with a series of property thefts.

On Sept. 10, police responded to a residence in the area of Frederick Street in Kitchener for a report of stolen property.

Police say three unknown suspects had entered a residential parking garage and stole an electric bike. The thieves left before police arrival.

On Sept. 11, police say one of the same trio entered an apartment building in the area of Belmont Avenue and stole property from parked vehicles.

The suspect arrived in a stolen vehicle and left before police arrival, police said in a news release.

On Sept. 13, members of the WRPS Direct Action Response Team identified three suspects and executed a search warrant at a Kitchener residence.

Officers were able to recover stolen property, including a stolen vehicle, police said.

Following an investigation, a 35-year-old Kitchener male was charged with:

  • Break and enter to commit and indictable offence
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Two counts of breach a probation order
  • Two counts of fail to comply with an undertaking

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Police say a 28-year-old Kitchener female and a 46-year-old Kitchener male were later charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence.

The two are scheduled to appear in court in October.
