Trio of thieves targeted residents who were home asleep during break-in: Police

Two men and a woman forced their way into a Kitchener home shortly before midnight Saturday while the residents were asleep, say Waterloo regional police.

The residents alerted police and the three suspects fled the area on foot. The home is in the Natchez Road and Carson Drive area.

Investigators believe Saturday's incident was targeted and are asking for information from the public. 

The suspects are described as:

  • White male in his early 20s, 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing a dark hoodie.
  • Black male, about five-foot-nine and wearing a light-coloured hoodie
  • Black female, about five-foot-ten and wearing an army green jacket
