A pedestrian in Waterloo suffered serious injuries Saturday after he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Waterloo regional police's traffic services unit says it's investigating a serious hit-and-run collision that happened around 7:50 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Erb Street West and Ira Needles Boulevard roundabout.
Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services transported the pedestrian, a 53-year-old Waterloo male, to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
