Police searching for suspect in Kitchener stabbing

Two peopel were injured in the attack, which police believe was a targeted one

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a stabbing in Kitchener.

On Oct. 19, 2024, at approximately 10:10 a.m., police responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue.

Upon arrival, police located a 40-year-old female with minor physical injuries and a 40-year-old male with a non-life-threatening stab wound.

The suspect, a Black male with a medium build, wearing black pants, left the area before police arrival.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
