Police search turns up over $15,000 worth of drugs

Waterloo Regional Police Service seized over $15,000 worth of drugs during the search on a home in Cambridge Thursday.

Police say they found suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription pills while completing a search warrant at a residence near Franklin Boulevard and Dundas Street South.

A 43-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking along with failing to comply with a release order.

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
