Ministry of Labour investigating accident that seriously injured worker in Cambridge

A man is in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries following a workplace incident in Cambridge this morning.

Waterloo regional police said they were called to a business in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Turnbull Court around 11:30 a.m. this morning for a reported injury.

Police said the injured worker was transported to a local hospital.

An Ornge helicopter was asked to respond to the scene but the injured worker was taken to hospital ambulance.

Police have determined the incident is not suspicious and the Ministry of Labour will be continuing the investigation.

CambridgeToday reached out to the ministry for comment but did not immediately hear back.
