Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a sexual assault incident in Waterloo.
On Nov. 2, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., an adult female was sexually assault by an unknown male while in the lobby of a residential building in the area of Sunview Street and University Avenue West.
The victim was walking when she realized that she was being followed by the male. The victim ran into a building and was chased by the male and sexually assaulted. The victim broke free, and the male fled the area.
The suspect was described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 30 years-old, 5’5’ with a medium build.
Investigators would like to identify and speak with the male pictured in connection to this incident.
