The Waterloo Regional Police Service is pleased to honour Service members and recognize members of the Waterloo Region community during the Annual Awards Night ceremony.
Throughout the ceremony, the Service will recognize citizens, officers, and civilian professional members of WRPS who have gone above and beyond in contributing to community safety or crime prevention.
“This wonderful evening is a celebration of the vital bond between members of our Service and the community, a connection that is essential to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Region,” said Mark Crowell, Chief of Police. “This is a remarkable event where we can express gratitude not just to our members for their dedicated service and outstanding achievements but also to recognize the incredible contributions of community members who have displayed genuine heroism and distinction.”
Local citizens will be acknowledged for their exceptional and selfless acts, while police officers will be recognized for exemplary and meritorious service to policing.
Waterloo Regional Police Service Board members will be among the distinguished guests joining Chief Crowell and WRPS Senior Leaders in acknowledging the great deeds and accomplishments of the worthy recipients.
Awards Night will be held at Tapestry Hall in Cambridge on November 5, 2024, at 6 p.m.
