Police look to identify two men in connection to New Year's Day break and enter

Police say two men broke into a business in the area of Beverly Street and Samuelson Street at around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 1

Police are looking to identify and speak to two men they believe are connected with a New Year's Day break-in in Cambridge.

Waterloo regional police say on Jan. 1 at 5:30 a.m., two unknown males gained entry to a business in the area of Beverly Street and Samuelson Street.

Investigators would like to identify and speak to the individuals pictured above in connection to this incident.

Police are encouraging business owners to consider the following safety measures to help prevent break-and-enters:

  • Ensure valuables and cash are removed from the business prior to closing. 
  • Consider installing a surveillance/security system, which can remotely monitor the front, rear, and inside the business.
  • Report any suspicious activity or individuals to police immediately.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team.
